Abundant rivers and lakes make the state a haven for outdoor recreation, but that is only one of the great vacation options Wisconsin has to offer. Milwaukee and Madison both hold a number of museums dedicated to exploring the state's past and some of its most important people and inventions. Sports are huge in Wisconsin: try to catch a game by the NFL's Green Bay Packers or the MLB's Milwaukee Brewers. Some flights are available into the state, though driving is really the only way to get around.
